• Participated in two original Unity- and C#-based 2D games and designed synergistic skills mechanics for characters, creating a 3 skill-combo system where the first skill applies a buff to empower the second.
• Validated the system through collecting and analysing players’ feedback, recognizing a pain point that the confusion of timing of skill usage was due to unclear UI tips.
• Optimized the skill trigger pipeline with a revamped and guided UI system, calibrating cooldown timing to maintain engaging gameplay, ensuring strategic counterplay.
• Contributed 2 vital self-developing modules to the project prototype; the subsequent demo received high praise from the project manager during internal reviews and external presentations.
